Privacy.
A short, clear overview: what data this site collects, why — and what you can do about it. This is a translation for convenience; the legally binding version is the German original.
01 · Data controller
The controller in the sense of the GDPR is wildsolutions GmbH, Kaiserstraße 82/45, 1070 Vienna, represented by Philip Wildenauer. Contact for privacy matters: pw@kalon.at.
02 · What happens when you visit this site
When you visit kalon.at, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical access data (IP address, timestamp, requested page, user agent). This data is necessary for the secure operation of the site — abuse prevention, bot filtering and error analysis. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functional, secure website).
This site sets no marketing or advertising cookies. For aggregated reach analysis we use Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookie-free, without individual user fingerprints. Details see section 04.
03 · Contact
When you contact us by email or phone, the data you provide (email address, name, content of your request) is used solely to handle your request and any resulting communication. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contract / performance) or (f) (legitimate interest in a reply).
We do not pass your data to third parties unless this is necessary to fulfil a contract or required by law.
04 · Embedded external services
Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) hosts this website. Cloudflare processes the technical access data described above. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition. Details: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Cloudflare Web Analytics (also Cloudflare, Inc.) collects aggregated reach data (page views, referrer, country from IP, device class, browser) to analyse site usage. No cookies are set and no individual user fingerprint is created. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understandable reach measurement). Details: cloudflare.com/web-analytics.
Unsplash (Unsplash Inc., Canada/USA): In the "My work" area, images are loaded directly from Unsplash servers. Your browser transmits your IP address to Unsplash. Details: unsplash.com/privacy.
05 · Storage period
Server logs are stored only as long as necessary for the purposes described (typically a few days to weeks). Contact data from email requests is kept as long as the request is being handled and follow-up is meaningful. Statutory retention periods (e.g. under the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code or the Commercial Code) remain unaffected.
06 · Your rights
You have the right, at any time, to:
- Access data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
An informal message to pw@kalon.at is enough to exercise these rights.
07 · Right to complain
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: www.dsb.gv.at.
08 · Changes
We update this privacy notice when legal requirements or the website change. The current version on this page applies.
